Mission Statement:
Our mission is to advise on, coordinate and implement the Government’s economic and fiscal policies and programmes including the generation and allocation financial resources to provide appropriate public services and to contribute to the overall development of Belize
Role and Funtions:
The Ministry of Finance is charged with among others:
1. Advising on the formulation and execution of financial policy
2. Budget preparation, control and review
3. Fiscal management
4. Public debt servicing
5. Insurance and banking
